Monday Make-Up Challenge

So, I was watching the amusing 'My boyfriend does my make-up' videos on YouTube with my best friend, when all of a sudden, we wondered how rubbish our guy friends would be at applying make-up.

Thoughts and thoughts later, we have decided on a challenge for them on Monday... there's 3 girls and 3 guys and we're going to combine all of our make-up and they have to do a standard night out look, and the best make-up guy wins....

....andddd because we're students, the winner gets to get someone to do something....it will probably involve a lot of alcohol....and I'll end up being that person!

I'm quite scared that I'll look like a drag queen....but I'm thinking it'll be quite amusing.

I'll post some pictures of what they come up with.... one of my friends' best friends is a make-up artist...so there's no pressure there!

REVIEW: Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara

I've been wanting to review this for so long! But I've never had good enough photos of the results to post! Well, finally here it is! 



I bought this from Boots quite a while back, for £8.99. I'd heard so much about it and there was a lot of hype with the product, it even came first in my search for the Best of the British High Street for Mascara!

I could write and write about this product, but I know all you want to see is the results! So, here they are:






This is one coat of mascara, but I'd say a decent coat and without using eyelash curlers! I absolutely love this mascara! I've actually been asked if I was wearing false lashes!



This wand is great, it doesn't get clumpy and it applies like a dream. I don't think there is anything bad I could say about this product!

Would I recommend this to a friend? Of course!

And I would like to give this....

Eye of the Blogger: Bank Holiday Weekend

It was the bank holiday weekend last week, but hey ho...here the post is! 

I apologise in advance for the poor quality photos...they were taken on my phone, which doesn't have a front facing camera and it's pretty difficult to focus it when you can't see where to touch! I need to invest in a camera....when I get some money!

My Fitness Plan - Day One: The Stomach

Whilst undertaking The Squat Challenge, as I mentioned here, I've decided to show you guys what I'm doing as my fitness plan. I've decided to go with 3 days a week of 30 mins cardio and then the exercises you'll see below. If you want to follow what I'm doing, I've posted a video to go with each exercise so you know you are doing it properly and in the safest way! 

1. Crunches - 15 reps 




2. Reverse Crunches - 15 reps




3. Bicycle Crunches - 20 reps




4. Side Crunches - 15 reps - each side




5. Plank - 20 seconds




- Repeat this 3 times


Feel free to adapt this to how you wish, if you feel you can't do that many reps then lower it - you don't want to hurt yourself. Do what's best for your own body.  :)



Good Afternoon!

Hello everyone, I keep taking short breaks...and by that I mean I feel like I'm spending all of my time doing work...but I'm not. So, if I'm going to procrastinate, then I might as well do some blogging.

Anyway, it's nearly April - which means, we're a third through 2013 and I for one cannot remember my new years resolutions. So, I'll be posting my April Targets in a few days, which is essential my new year resolutions...but for April! One of these is to actually exercise...and get fit. So I'm doing the squat challenge! I'm on day 3 as we speak, so I've got to do 60 squats today! It's all fun and giggles!

If you've not heard of the squat challenge, here it is:


I'll start posting how my progress is going and the fitness plan that I'm doing in a few days! I have no idea if I'll be able to make it to 250 squats...I didn't even think I'd be able to do 50.

It's great to be back, and I promise I'll have some good posts lined up :)
